The Speck Candyshell

Hey guys! I 'm about to get a new iPhone case! Just ordered it on amazon.com and it should be here by Wednesday, January 21st, 2012. I'm super excited to get it and i will do an unboxing and review of the case of my youtube channel (Technogal185), a short article about it on my blog (this is my blog!), and a mention on my Twitter account (@technogal185). So look out for it!

About the case:

It's a Speck Candyshell (cotton candy color). I've seen a ton of videos and read a bunch of reviews on these cases, so i though i might try one out for myself. I got the blue one for my iPod touch 4g and they are amazing! They protect your phone about as well as an otterbox does! They have a dual layer design; the inner layer is made of rubber for a shock proof impact when it is dropped; and the outer layer is made of hard plastic that makes the case durable yet flexible at the same time. Lastly, the cases are available in amazing colors! Some examples would be (the one that I'm getting) Cotton candy (light blue outside with a hot pink inside), cotton dandy (Light blue outside with an orange inside), Seadragon purple (purple outside with a light blue inside), Pomodoro/Black (red outside with a black inside), and so many more! They have these cases for Android, tablets, iPod, iPhone (3G, 3GS, 4, and 4S), and even MacBook computers! Hope you guys take these cases into consideration when buying a new cover for your device!

2011: The Year of Software!

2011 was supposed to be the year of the iPad, but with the brand new Mac OSX Lion and IOS 5. Apple's plans were changed...a lot! Lion includes the new launchpad feature (looks like the iPad home screen). Launchpad holds all your apps and is able to be scrolled through with just the swipe of a finger. More features from lion include FaceTime, Mission Control, full screen apps, etc. Now, IOS 5 is completely different; Lion was used only for the Mac computers, but IOS is for apple devices such as an iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. IOS 5 includes: pull down notifications, camera shortcut on the lockscreen, reminders app, Siri (iPhone 4s only), iMessage (that allows iPod touches and iPads to text anyone running IOS 5), and about 200 more!!! And btw...if you haven't upgraded to either of these brand new softwares...YOU SHOULD!!!

iPhone 4s

Just got the white iPhone 4s for Christmas and i have to say: IT ROCKS!!! If you are looking for an awesome new smartphone with cool features, you should get this phone. I know what your thinking: "it doesn't have 4G capabilities! >:O Yes, that may be true but the internet is still pretty stinkin' fast! This is my first official smartphone. I used to have the Palm Treo, but that phone SUCKED, and i didn't have a data plan. :( I LOVE MY NEW PHONE!!!
